Forest Soul of the Week
Say what's up to our newest Forest Souls customer, Heidi Branch, the beautiful comedian, located in Florida! Four trees have been planted through her purchases, a 'Sacred Tree' T-Shirt as she wore in this photo, and a 'Forest Souls of Life' tote bag.
What has inspired you to be part of Nature? "My down-to-earth family inspired me to cherish Mother Nature because she has provided us a life and the tools to use our natural talents: My father is a handyman, my mother is an furnisher, my brother is a chef, my sister is a herbalist and I am a jewelry designer."
What is your favorite tree and why? "Palm Trees. Because I have watched them going through the hurricanes and other nature disasters, yet, they still stand so powerfully. Here's an example of that day when the hurricane came across the city and there was one specific palm tree about over 70 or 80 feet tall. It looked so fragile and super thin. It kept swinging around and around, I thought it was going to break at anytime soon, but it never did. That palm tree has reminded me of who I am... A strong soul who can overcome all the obstacles coming my way. That's why I love palm trees so much.
What message would you like to share with the community? "It is extremely important to recycle the plastics, aluminums, and glasses. We truly need to respect the earth and I highly encourage everyone to bring their own recycle bags when they go grocery shopping to reduce the population of the plastic bags!!"
